Responsibilities
As an HR Generalist, your main tasks will include the following:
• Provide counselling about HR policies, procedures and systems to General Administration, BoD and local teams
• Operationalize Group HR strategies in the BU
• Collect, analyze and report in order to make recommendations to managers and other functional units regarding operational workforce planning and succession planning
• Partner with the CEO and local management team when dealing with performance reviews, compensation strategies, talent management action plans and employee relations and processes such as recruiting.
• Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries of senior levels
• Analyze results from opinion survey together with business managers and helps them define appropriate action plans
• Act as counsel and coach to CEO, senior team and managers in regards to HR polices, procedures and systems
• Balance employee and management needs
• Ensure Group polices and procedures are understood by the local management and HR staff
• Implement Group and regional HR strategies while meeting local needs
• Change management – motivate and retain people in a challenging and fast changing business environment (restructuring, cost reduction scenario)
• Gaining broad/deep understanding of internal talents, ensuring internal talent is correctly deployed in the region
• Build relationships with managers across the BU
• Act as a trusted advisor for employees and managers
• Build relationships with other HR core functions
• Build relationships with the regional HR team

Requirements
The ideal candidate for the HR Generalist position will possess the following:
• BS/MS degree in Human Resources or a Business related field
• At least 3 years experience as HR Generalist (Compensation and Recruiting)
• Labor Law knowledge and Regulations
• Fluent English and Greek is essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent working knowledge of MS office applications
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Customer focus/service oriented
• Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
• Build relationships with partners (lawyers, HR agencies and consulting firms)
• Ability to balance management needs with employee needs
• Ability to manage complex situations between the Group, the region and local BU
• Ability to manage within a matrix organisation
